A website that looks like you mean business.

Website Design for your business • Located in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta

You’ve worked hard to get good at what you do. Your website should reflect that, and more!

Colour Infusion (est. 2009) designs custom websites for small businesses that need to convert. We look at what your customers need to know, what makes you different from others in your field, what you want them to do next and how everything should fit together.

And yes, we make it look really good too.

Are you looking for a new website? Or a make-over as you have outgrown the current one?

The internet changes at the speed of light (or at least it feels that way). And now that AI is changing how people search, a good website has more jobs to do than ever. Keywords still matter, but so do clear answers, helpful content, good structure and making it really easy for Google and AI engines to understand who you are, what you do and why they should recommend you.

That’s why, besides making your website look good, we also think about SEO, AI search visibility, user experience and what happens behind the scenes while we build it.

A good website is an investment, but it should also be one of the hardest-working pieces of your business. If people are looking for exactly what you do, let’s make sure you have a fighting chance of being found.

Our Website Design Process

01 • Let’s figure out what you need

We start with a conversation about your business, your customers, your current website (if you have one), what’s working and what’s driving you nuts.

02 • Strategy & structure

Before making things look great, we work out the pages, navigation, content priorities, calls to action and overall flow.

03 • Design & build

Now we bring your brand to life online. You’ll see the website take shape and have opportunities to give feedback along the way.

04 • The behind-the-scenes stuff

Mobile testing, links, forms, basic SEO setup, AI visibility optimization, metadata, analytics, integrations and the little things nobody notices until they don’t work.

05 • Launch!

After final testing and approval, your new website goes live. We always include small changes for the 2 weeks after launch when you have shown it to several clients, who may have an opinion about a thing or two.

Colour Infusion completed a comprehensive brand review for our business and identified several areas where our branding lacked consistency. Norja carefully analyzed our materials and discovered that we were using multiple fonts across our brand, along with other opportunities to strengthen our overall visual identity.

I always enjoy working with Colour Infusion because their work is delivered quickly, professionally, and with exceptional attention to detail. Their expertise helped us gain a clearer, more cohesive brand presence, and I highly recommend their services.

An example...

BEFORE: "At Apex Watercraft, we provide high-quality kayaks and gear for individuals seeking outdoor recreation. Our vessels are manufactured with durable materials to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient experience on the water. We offer a variety of rental packages and guided tours designed to accommodate different skill levels. Customer satisfaction and safety remain our primary operational priorities as we help you navigate local waterways."

Boring right?

How about this version?

AFTER: "Sick of the daily grind? At Apex, we don’t do boring weekend routines...We build tough-as-nails kayaks for people who are ready to feel alive again. Whether you’re a total rookie escaping the suburbs or a seasoned river rat chasing the next adrenaline spike, we’ve got your getaway vehicle. Stop existing, start exploring, and let the rapids wash off the corporate stench."

Why does it matter?

The first one can be put on any kayak business website. The second one brings in a more unique approach, depending on the style of the business.

Instead of selling "watercraft," (the product) it sells an escape from the mundane (the emotion). The language is much more conversational, easier to read and highly relatable to a specific type of client (the target audience). It positions the kayak not just as a boat, but as a "getaway" from the status quo.

Do you use generic templates to build my site?

No, we don't rely on cookie-cutter templates or AI-generated graphics to build your website. Your business is unique to you, and your website should reflect that. We design clean sites with a clear visual hierarchy and enough whitespace. By aligning your site with your specific brand personality, we give your online presence a unique flavour that draws in your people, rather than a carbon copy of someone else's.

Will my new website be set up for Google search?

Absolutely. A beautiful website only works if the right people can find it. We add strong, localized Search Engine Optimization (SEO) into the foundation of your site before it goes live. We include writing custom JSON-LD schema markup, which acts as a bit of behind-the-scenes magic that speaks directly to search engines. This gives your business has the best possible chance of showing up when your ideal clients are looking for what you do.

What platforms do you use to build websites?

We work with several website platforms, including WordPress, Hostinger and Squarespace, and choose the platform based on what your business needs and how comfortable you are managing the website afterwards.

Not every client should be squeezed into the same system. Some people want to update everything themselves. Others would happily never see the backend again. We consider your goals, budget, functionality and tech comfort level before recommending the best fit.

And if an off-the-shelf platform can’t quite do what you need, we can also build custom functionality, integrations and automated workflows around it. The technology should make running your business easier, not give you another job.

What happens after my website launches? Will I be left on my own?

Not at all. We don’t just hand over the keys and disappear into the digital ether. We build your website with your own tech comfort level in mind, and once it launches, we’ll make sure you know how to handle the things you actually want to manage yourself.

And we’re still here afterwards. Businesses change, services get added and websites need updates. Whether you need a small design change, a new page, ongoing website support or something completely new added down the road, you can come back to us. We are here for you!
