A life deserves to be remembered.

When someone we love dies, there are suddenly so many things to think about.

And somewhere among all of it are the videos and photographs.

Your family holidays. Any blurry snapshots. And likely wedding pictures, baby photos, pets adventures and more! Event the ordinary Tuesday afternoons that didn’t seem important at the time, but somehow mean everything now.

We can create a beautiful memorial video for you to bring those moments together into one story, that you can play whenever you miss them.

Not just a slideshow of photographs, but a solid reflection of a life lived, the people they loved, the places they went, the laughter they shared, and the memories they leave behind.

We will listen to your stories, to capture it all in a custom video.

Your memories. Their story.

Old printed photographs can be included too. So can phone pictures, family videos, handwritten notes, meaningful sayings, dates and the little details that make the person you loved feel like them. Together, they become something your family can gather around and remember. Something that can be shown at an Honouring of Life, memorial or family gathering. And something you can keep long after that day has passed.

Made with care by professional video editors.

Every life has its own rhythm. Some people were quiet and gentle. Some were hilarious. Some loved the mountains, their garden, their dogs, their motorcycle, their grandchildren or a particular song they played far too loudly.

Your memorial video should feel like the person you are remembering. That is why each one is created individually, with thought given to the photographs, pacing, music, words and transitions.

When you’re ready

There is no perfect way to honour someone.

There is only the way that feels right for your family.

If you have photographs tucked into albums, videos sitting on phones, favourite songs you can’t hear without thinking of them, and memories you want to hold onto, I would be honoured to help you bring them together.

Tell us about the person you’re remembering.

What is a memorial video?

A memorial video brings photographs, video clips, music, words and memories together to tell the story of someone you love. It can be shared during an Honouring of Life, funeral, memorial, celebration of life or a small family gathering. More than a slideshow, it becomes a beautiful keepsake your family can return to for years to come.

Do my photographs need to be digital?

Not at all. Printed photographs can be scanned and included along with digital photos, pictures from phones and family video clips. If some of your most treasured memories are tucked away in an old photo album or box, we can work with those too.

Do I need to organize all the photographs first?

No. Please don’t feel that you need to make everything perfect before reaching out. Grief already asks enough of you. If you have a collection of photographs and memories but don’t know where to begin, I can help you sort through what you have and gently shape it into a story.

Can a memorial video include music?

Absolutely. Music can bring back a memory in an instant. We can incorporate songs that were meaningful to your loved one, your family or a particular time in their life, while taking into account where and how the finished video will be shared.

How many photographs can I include?

That depends on the length and style of the memorial video. You may have fifty photographs or hundreds that you can’t imagine leaving out. We can talk about what you have and find a balance that gives the photographs enough time to be seen while still telling the fuller story of their life.

Can you include old home videos?

Yes. Those little pieces of movement and sound can be incredibly special. A laugh, a wave at the camera, someone dancing at a wedding or playing with the grandchildren can bring another dimension to a memorial video. If you have older footage, let me know what format it is in and we can determine what can be included.

Can I include words, dates or little stories?

Yes. Names, important dates, favourite sayings, handwritten notes, short stories and meaningful words can all become part of the video. These small details often help a memorial feel much more personal.

Can we keep the memorial video after the service?

Yes. It is yours to keep. While your memorial video may initially be created for an Honouring of Life, funeral or memorial service, it also becomes part of your family history. You can watch it again, share it with family members and preserve it for future generations.

How long does it take to create a memorial video?

Timing depends on the length of the video, the number of photographs and video clips, and what you would like included. If you are working toward a funeral or memorial date, please reach out as soon as you can and let me know your timeline. I’ll be upfront about what is possible.

I don’t really know what I want yet. Can you help?

Absolutely. You don’t need to arrive with a plan.

Tell me a little about your person, what made them them, and what photographs, videos or memories you have.

We can start there.
